Your poem is really good, it's tense and feels like we're in your head. You've managed to paint a really clear picture and brought us along with you as you are standing in the spaceship, at the door, waiting to open it and see the moon that you never thought you would.
I defiantly like it, I enjoy poetry and I studied writing and poetry at uni before studying teaching, I can tell you that this is really impressive stuff for your age.
