Hi Armika, I like how you said 'It destroys the home of the animals.' Next time you should write a bit more. I think your peace of writing is very important. looking forward to your next post Sam
Thanks for leaving a thoughtful comment on Armika's blog entry. I like how you mentioned that you like how Armika said, "It destroys the homes of the animals." However, in order to receive the bonus points for leaving thoughtful comments on other students pages, I need to see you engage with Armika's piece of writing more. What is it about "It destroys the homes of the animals" that you like? In a thoughtful comment we need to open up a positive conversation about the daily activity. I know you've got it in you! You just need to spend more time thinking about how you're going to respond.
You're on the right track, so keep up the great work you two!
Great work completing another SLJ activity. You have given us two good reasons to why you think logging shouldn't be allowed in Aotearoa, New Zealand. You're right, the trees filter the Carbon Dioxide from the air and produce oxygen in its place. So, the less trees means more Carbon Dioxide. Forests are also home to many wild animals, often when the forests are logged down — animals need to relocate, and this can often be dangerous for the animals.
Two great points, however I need to see you engage with the question with more detail. Can you tell us more about logging in New Zealand?
I look forward to reading your response :) Keep up the good work!
Please structure your comments as follows: Positive - Something done well Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - Give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
