This Activity we had to find all about polluted rivers.

SLJ Day 5: Activity 1

I do not like this rule because when you over fish lots of fishes are dying we also have to care for sea animals and even normal fishing isn't good so why would you over fish.

SLJ Day 4: Activity 3

In this picture I think she is a tourist going to different countries to explore and get photos.

Her phone is high up in the sky so she can have a great view of the place.

I also think she is very nervous for being that high up.

For that selfie the pose she stopped in was very leaned back so I am guessing she was very very nervous.

She is taking that pose to show the beautiful place and to probably show her accomplishments that she made it this far.

They were probably feeling the breeze and enjoying the view of the entire place.

My favourites would be
1.  The foul pool*

I really like the foul pool because it means something very unpleasant and it does not sound very pleasant to me.

I would like to go on a helicopter tour because when we fly high we can see great views of the sky and land. Also have great view of Milford Sound when we get there.

The my answer is 9 adults 18 kids because 225 + 270 is 495. When you times and plus it will get easier .

My favourite food is fruit kebabs it is pretty easy to make you just need bamboo sticks,(I do not know what they are called for sure so this is what I think it's name is) any type of chopped fruit and done you fruit kebab is done.

I am an early riser because I like waking up early and getting the day started for fun new activities.
My Dad is an early riser because he always wakes up early and goes outside without telling me!
My Mum is a night owl because she stays up all night checking her phone.
My sister is a night owl because she always stays up late and sleep longer.

I choose the White Baneberry and the Baseball Plant
Something similar about them is that they are toxic, they both have a shape of a circle and they both contain water.
Somethings that they do not have as a similarity is that the white baneberry has a branch but the baseball plant does not, the white baneberry is very small and the baseball plant is not and the white baneberry is 60 cm tall while the baseball plant is 20 cm tall.

I am thinking of my dad because he is very strong by lifting a lot of stuff  which is really heavy.
He is strong because he can lift me while other people can not. (my mum and sister can't even lift me, seriously am I that heavy)

Dear Mehakpreet, (My best friend)

I came back from Tundra and I have some things that I experienced that I need to tell you.

So my experience it was mostly awful but slightly fine because there were no trees!

It was so cold I kept layering myself until I was warm.

So I felt burning in my shoes so I took it off and I was bare feet and the grass was so cold I could not stand it.

So every time I passed a lake I would refuse to feel it because one time my hands almost became ice.

When I got back home I sprang on to my bed I was so tired.

SLJ Week 1 Day 5: Activity 1

I do not support logging because it makes less oxygen,
It destroys the home of the animals.

Those are my reasons why we should not have loggers in NZ.

 I would build my hotel in a very big city. I would build my hotel with glass, bricks, stone and wood for the doors.

My favourite food is Egg less cupcakes.
To make Egg less cupcakes is easy.
1 spoon of flour,
1 spoon of sugar,
1 spoon of butter (melted),
1 spoon of cocoa and just add milk and then put in the microwave for 2 minutes and its done

The WWF is helping to protect the tigers.
They are finding all the tigers and informing other people to find them to.

They have succeeded by telling other people and working together to help the tigers.
If they by any chance have succeeded all the tigers will be safe and people will stop hunting tigers.

Pros:
It is helping the geckos, skinks and other small animals,
It is helping lots of plants too,
It is also a good thing because it tells other people too join too and help all types of animals and plants.

Cons:
There is only a few people working,
Since their are little animals they might be a little hard to handle,
Less people are coming to help.

I would like to be a DOC ranger because I want to help anything I can.

So when all the monitors were gone to rainbows end,
everybody who didn't go in the kahikatea hub did some art,
it 6 blind men touching a part of an elephant,
we worked in pairs for each verse,
but since there was only 11 of us,
3 of us would have to be in a group of 3,
which was Me Mehakpreet and Charlotte,
their were six or even verses and my group did the fifth and sixth verse

Yesterday we were researching about native birds and I did the fantail we also did questions and answers.

Maths Easy What's going on

Yesterday we were working on a maths task some of us were working on one task and some were working on the other tasks, the people who were working on what's going on were learning fractions, it was pretty complicated but when you know "what's going on" you will get it also Mehakpreet and Lucinda worked with me.

Dear Mrs Walsh,

Thank you for coming to camp with us, if it weren’t for you we would all be unsupervised and and not be entertained because you participated in some activities and made us laugh, also my favourite bit was when you went down the flying fox and screamed. Also you encouraged some of us to do the activities by making all of them funny and cool.

How can I make a difference?

Last week we learnt about trees and how do they make a difference.
We learnt that trees are good for the world because they give oxygen resources furniture and lots of other stuff and the they also were used for medicine

Today for clubs we were making cheese and spaghetti bread cases well it was optional but my group did spaghetti and cheese bread cases we had to write the recipe, tools, ingredients and the pictures.

Cooking Club

Today for clubs we were making sausage rolls but since I am a vegetarian and one other person could not eat a type of food  so our group made pizza scrolls in the slide there is the recipe, the tools and how we made and also there are some pictures of the Pizza rolls (the pictures will get added later)

Elisabetta Dami Author Study

This is my Author Study, basically we got to choose which author we wanted to study about I chose Elisabetta Dami if you do not know who she is she is Geronimo and Thea Stilton.

We had to choose choose 2 books from our author and a limited amount of 5 books but I already did 5 when we have chose those 5 books we had to also write the name, the publisher, the year and we had to put the picture of the book

After you are done that you have to choose 6 questions you want to ask you author and answer them,
after that you have to choose 6 more tasks to do thats sounds pretty hard but easy for me a little.

We learnt how to make a math problem in sign language and solve it.
The signing was difficult but I figured it out in the end.
